The arts and cultural sector is a significant and growing industry in Australia and globally. The sector requires strong, capable and passionate arts managers, and this course is an acknowledged education leader in the field.

Highly effective arts and cultural managers need expertise in management, marketing and finance as well as leadership and innovation. These disciplines and skills are essential to the success of arts and cultural organisations if they are to be culturally vibrant and financially viable.

This course combines the structure of a business education with focused industry expertise from the arts and cultural sectors.

Other areas of study include: event management, cultural policy and its context, strategic planning, volunteer management, fundraising, sponsorship and philanthropy, management of community creative processes, and managing entrepreneurial activity within the creative industries.

The course is led by staff with extensive practical experience in management and leadership in the arts and cultural sectors.
