Course overview

The Graduate Diploma of Business Administration (International) can only be completed as an exit option from the Master of Business Administration (International). The course is made up of 8 credit points of study plus the Academic Integrity and Respect at Deakin, DAI001

Deakin’s Graduate Diploma of Business Administration (International) equips business managers, particularly those operating in an international context, with the capability to deal with all aspects of an organisation's management.

The course covers a broad range of topics relating to all aspects of organisational management and the development of creative, analytical and interpersonal capabilities crucial to business leadership.

Participation requirements

Units in this course may have participation requirements that include compulsory placements, work-based training, community-based learning or collaborative research training arrangements.

Mandatory student checks

Units which contain work integrated learning, a community placement or interaction with the community may require a police check, working with children check or other check. These requirements will be detailed in unit guides upon enrolment.

Course rules

To complete the Graduate Diploma of Business Administration (International) [exit option only] students must pass 8 credit points and meet the following course rules to be eligible to graduate: 

  • DAI001 Academic Integrity and Respect at Deakin (0-credit-point compulsory unit) in their first study period
  • 4 credit points of core units
  • 4 credit points of course elective units including a Work Integrated Learning unit
