Redesigned in 2027, Deakin’s Bachelor of Business is for bold thinkers who want to lead people, manage projects and develop creative solutions. Study at the top university for undergraduate business employment in the state of Victoria and build adaptable skills in leadership, project work, entrepreneurship, marketing and people management. Tackle modern business challenges and graduate with the skills and confidence to succeed in changing workforces.
Build a strong foundation in digital information, financial literacy, economics, management and marketing innovation, and explore global trends, sustainability and professional identity. Specialise with majors including business, marketing and human resource management, entrepreneurship, innovation, AI and business information systems, or project management. Course rules
To complete the Bachelor of Business you must pass 24 credit points. This includes:
- DAI001 Academic Integrity and Respect at Deakin (0-credit-point compulsory unit) in your first study period
- 8 credit points of core units
- 1 major (8 credit points)
- 1 course elective (WIL unit)
- 7 credit points of open elective units
- a maximum of 10 credit points at level 1
- a minimum of 6 credit points at level 3 (4 must be Business and Law undergraduate units)
Most units are equal to one credit point. As a full-time student you will study four credit points per trimester and usually undertake two trimesters per year.
Students are required to meet the University's academic progress and conduct requirements.

Your tuition fees will increase annually at the start of each calendar year. All fees quoted are in Australian dollars ($AUD) and do not include additional costs such as textbooks, computer equipment or software, other equipment, mandatory checks, travel, consumables and other costs.
