Course overview
Study Deakin's Graduate Certificate of Fine Arts to build on your undergraduate skills and explore contemporary approaches to creativity. Refine your practice through practical learning and collaboration while developing transferable skills such as imaginative thinking, problem solving and leadership. Learn, create and experiment alongside thinkers from a range of backgrounds in a supportive environment.
Complete electives that let you deepen your strengths or build capability in a new area. Through industry-relevant projects and practice in professional-standard creative facilities, you will apply ideas in individual and team settings. Strengthen your practice while becoming a more reflective and adaptable creative professional. On graduation, choose from a range of creative career opportunities or continue your studies by articulating into Deakin’s Master of Fine Arts.

Graduate with specialist knowledge, transferable creative skills and real-world experience that prepares you for a diverse range of creative roles in areas such as:
- entrepreneurship and management in the creative arts

Course rules
To complete the Graduate Certificate of Fine Arts you must pass 4 credit points. This includes:
- DAI001 Academic Integrity and Respect at Deakin (0-credit-point compulsory unit in your first study period
- 4 credit point of course electives.
Most units are equal to one credit point.
Students are required to meet the University's academic progress and conduct requirements.

Tuition fees will vary depending on the type of fee place you hold, your course, your commencement year, the units you choose to study, your study load and/or unit discipline.
