| Educator-facilitated (scheduled) learning activities - on-campus unit enrolment: | The Applied Business Project study tour will be conducted in intensive mode over a two-week period. All students are required to attend all sessions during the study tour. The summary and post tour work will be required. |

Content
This capstone study tour offers an exciting opportunity to undertake an industry-based pilot project in an international setting. Projects will involve project management, analytics, business or systems analysis, systems development or business case development. Students will work as a project team based on skills and experience, and compete with other teams to develop the best outcome for a client. Students will be working with a client in Europe and will need to travel. In addition to the project work students need to consider intercultural aspects working with a client in a non-Australian setting. The unit does not introduce new domain knowledge but provides an opportunity to demonstrate the learning in the course and apply theory to a real project. Participation in pre-departure meeting and some pre-departure work is required in addition to the active participation during the tour. The tour will also include industry visits.
