Content
This unit forms part of the Critical Understandings Cluster. In this unit students will have the opportunity to extend their knowledge of mental health issues and nursing practice by exploring the social, economic, environmental, and political factors that influence mental health.
A key focus is contemporary mental health issues and the identification of risk and protective factors, early intervention strategies, and the promotion of mental health and wellbeing of self and others.
