Content
HBS345 is an online unit involving students from Nursing, Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Optometry, Medical Imaging and Medicine.
In this unit, students are allocated in to interprofessional student teams. In these teams, they develop care plans for complex cases by participating in Zoom case conferences and by ongoing online-based discussion to finalise the care plans.
Students also explore the key competency domains of collaborative practice such as role clarification, team functioning, collaborative leadership, interprofessional conflict resolution, interprofessional communication and patient-centred care, along with how their personality style impacts on their teamwork.
