Content
This unit focuses on ways in which students can cultivate an embodied sensibility through dance and movement improvisation. Utilising improvisation and 'somatic' practices, the practical classes will allow students to learn through internally-focused experiences of movement, interactions with others, kinaesthetic imagination and physical self-enquiry. Improvisation will also be practised as a form for performance thus offering students the opportunity to watch and reflect on the experiences of others.
