Course sub-headings

Course overview

The Associate Degree of Educational Studies can only be completed as an exit option. Discover how education shapes lives and communities with the Associate Degree of Educational Studies. This course introduces you to the big ideas in learning, teaching, and curriculum while helping you build practical skills in communication, problem-solving, and collaboration. You’ll graduate with a recognised qualification that prepares you for opportunities in education support, community programs, training, and policy, or as a stepping stone into further university study.

Career opportunities

Graduates of the Associate Degree of Educational Studies develop transferable skills in communication, problem-solving, teamwork, and curriculum understanding that are valued across education and community sectors. This qualification can open doors to roles such as education support officer, program coordinator, youth or community worker, or training support facilitator, with opportunities across schools, community organisations, government, and NGOs. These careers align with national growth areas in education support, community services, and training and development, all of which are projected to expand as demand for lifelong learning and inclusive education increases. This course is not a pre-service teacher qualification and does not lead to teacher registration, but it provides a strong platform for careers in education-related fields and a pathway to further undergraduate study.
