Content

This unit covers the advanced method for smart grid systems and its transformation from the conventional power grid. It includes integration and control of different energy sources (conventional and renewable resources) to the grid for resiliency. It explains how these resources operate off-grid as well as on-grid. This unit also explores the importance of energy management, data communications, and cybersecurity for the reliable operation of the smart grid.
