Students are required to complete the career education module within weeks 0-6 in the unit site. No compulsory campus attendance required.
This zero credit point unit requires students to undertake and pass the introductory unit online prior to enrolling in a Faculty of Science, Engineering and Built Environment postgraduate Professional Practice unit, Internship unit, Work Integrated Learning (WIL) project and or Industry Based Learning (IBL) unit.
Each unit in your course is a building block towards Deakin's Graduate Learning Outcomes - not all units develop and assess every Graduate Learning Outcome (GLO).

The assessment due weeks provided may change. The Unit Chair will clarify the exact assessment requirements, including the due date, at the start of the teaching period.
To be eligible to obtain a pass in this unit, students must complete the 3 assignments (a resume, a 'Me in a Minute' script or LinkedIn summary, and a Pre-professional experience plan). Students must also achieve a minimum mark of 70% in the online quiz. Three attempts to pass the quiz are permitted.
There is no prescribed text. Unit materials are provided via the unit site. This includes unit topic readings and references to further information.
