Stackable short courses (postgraduate-aligned microcredentials) are changing the face of university study, enabling you to prioritise what you learn, when. Providing specific, industry-based skills you need right now. Receive a stand-alone digital credential, with the added benefit of credit towards your Deakin degree*^

Mix and Match

You can mix and match any of the below 0.5 credit point stackable short courses (microcredentials) to be completed with credit applied to your postgraduate degree* up to the maximum allowable amount of general unspecified elective credit. Any stacking must add up to a whole number to be used for credit.

Guided Choice

Some courses have a choice of combinations of select stackable short courses (0.5cp microcredentials) to be completed with credit applied to your postgraduate degree up to the maximum allowable amount of credit as outlined in the specific course pages within the Deakin University Handbook.

*Subject to successful completion of the short course and limits on elective space outlined in specific postgraduate degrees’ course rules within the Deakin University Handbook. Typically, a maximum of four stackable short courses can be used as credit (2 credit points) towards a masters; and two stackable short courses can be used as credit (1 credit point) towards graduate certificates and diplomas.
